Since I have been gone I have seen some fantastic! shows around the city, which I am sure you have already caught, I just thought I would share some of my favorites.

The show, “Color Moves: Art and Fashion by Sonia Delaunay” at the Cooper Hewitt gets it’s own post for sure. It’s not everyday that I feel a connection to an artist. In fact it’s very rare. A strange thing perhaps, as I am a total art hag. When I saw Delaunay’s show I, undoubtably, whispered the most excited ‘holy shit’ over it. Is it possible we knew each other in a past life? Every piece on diplay just got me more and more excited. (Lots of cussing was done.) I strongly suggest checking it out. Or if you can’t then get/take a look at the book. So good!

Recently, a friend of mine, Michael Galinsky, has been getting some much deserved coverage on his collection of photos documenting and encapsulating the mall scene across America in 1989. After the high demand and many requests, Michael has now put up a Kickstarter to produce one Kickass book.  Go here to donate now.

Since this weekend was incredibly perfect, in Spring terms, me and my girls (Jenna and Tanya) took a stroll through Williamsburg, eating tacos along the way. This was a building we happened to walk by, one I am sure I have walked by a million times before, but with the Saturday light it really stood out to me. A perfectly tonal facade.

As I have probably mentioned in past posts, my oldest brother, Victor, is getting hitched this summer to the beautiful and amazing Anna. I have been doing random research on the event, from clothing to table-settings. As I collect my research I will be sure to share with you all! Here is a beautiful table setting (from Saipua, of course) with wild flowers in mismatched vases/jars/cans, which I think makes for the most wonderful setting. It’s still sweet and elegant without being uptight.
